"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

Nelson Mandela

Mission

Queen City College and Career Mentors' mission is to empower motivated, under-resourced students to pursue and achieve their college, community college, and career goals. Acknowledging that “high achieving” is not the sole indicator of future success, we help students identify the right career and college pathways, navigate the application process, and secure financial aid opportunities. Through mentorship, resources, and advocacy, we strive to break down barriers to education and create a future where every student, regardless of background, can achieve their academic and professional goals.

What Makes Us Unique

Mentorship That Lasts

We don’t just guide students—we walk with them. From the first meeting through college or training completion, our mentors are consistent, trusted partners in a student’s journey.

All Pathways Welcome

Whether a student chooses a four-year university, community college, trade school, or career training, we offer support that meets them where they are—not where society says they "should" go.

Beyond High School

QCCCM provides long-term support through key transitions. We stay connected after graduation, offering continued guidance during college or training, helping students persist and graduate.

Equity in Action

We believe in breaking barriers—not reinforcing them. Our programs are designed to uplift under-resourced students by addressing the systemic gaps in education, access, and opportunity.
